Halloween's coming!

Heh heh heh - would you believe Halloween's gonna be here soon? Maybe because that's my birthday I get all excited about Halloween! [yeah, sad I know!]

Well, I came across these SU stamps on that auction site again only cos we can't get them over here even in the new catalogue - honestly I've really browsed! They arrived yesterday [Saturday] but of course I had to go to work as per every weekend and had to wait until I finished my shift, got the kids off to bed and I watched a little telly. It must've been around 11 pm before I started tinkering about again LOL!

Tinkering about with stamps!

Some new SU stamps arrived from the USA I purchased from that auction site. Just fabby! Thursday and Friday night were just spent 'tinkering' about with inks and stamps - my therapy *bliss*.

Baby card commission

Gift tag:
Scalloped punch-out adhered to insert of card
Here is a card I have been commissioned to do - I made a gift tag to match. I'll soon be creating a framed scrapbook page layout - yet to buy the frame LOL!! I am not sure whether you can see that I have punched out the front of the card [there may be a slight shadow] and adhered the stamped and punched image to the inside of the card.

Halloween candy bags

I had a wee crafting session today and these are what I produced. One of our local supermarkets are selling a huge tin of "Roses" or "Quality Street" chocolates for £4.99 a tin instead of £9.99. Bargain! Got out some of my Sizzix Halloween sizzlets - bought them probably around a year ago but never used them until now! Also used the Quickcutz skeleton die. Some basic black cardstock, Doodlebug printed paper.

Cuttlebug embossing folders

Christmas mini gift bag:

Why has it taken me soooo long to get round to buying these babies? They are just fabby!! I bought them from Ebay on Monday and they arrived the Tuesday - again super service. So out they came out of the wrappers and I had a wee play with them with the Bigshot and cardstock and other bits and pieces.

Here is the very 1st thing I made with the embossing folders:

Another wee gift bag + new job

Mini gift bag and new job card:
'Jazzed' up choc mints included:Card all on its lonesome:
Side view of gift bag:
Contents inside bag:

I quite enjoyed making the first wee gift bag so I made a second LOL!! I am attending my secretaries meeting at work today [I can't usually attend as I work weekends only due to kids and other commitments]. My supervisor will be off to pastures new although still within the NHS. So today will probably be the last time I see her in person! So I thought I would make this as a little 'minding' as we don't really know each other but to let her know I am thinking of her. The wording on the embellishment says "goodbye and best wishes" was typed in 'word' then printed off; cut out using one my new circle punches and used an SU flower stamp to decorate the middle of the circle.

Mini gift bag

This is my first time completing a mini gift bag - making it by hand all by myself :o) It is quite small - I think it would be an ideal size for even wedding favours! The 'bag ' is actually made out of 1 x sheet of A4 cardstock.

It also gave me a chance to use my new circle punches from Woodware. They arrived this morning - I only ordered and paid for them yesterday - what superb service!

I used the SU scallop punch, Circle of Friendship stamp [hence the need for the circle punches] and 3 stamps from the "Simply Said" collection.
